Padlocks & keys
Combine a padlock with a lockable item in an anvil (costs 1 XP level) to lock it — after that it must be struggled or picked out of, with a +250 resistance bonus. A key unlocks the specific lock it's paired to by UUID, and a kidnapper's collar generates its matching key.
- Some organic items (slime / vine / web / tape) ship permanently locked with no padlock slot — they always block direct unequip.
A locked item is harder to get out of: it adds +250
resistance to the struggle
minigame, or you can defeat the lock directly with a lockpick. The
